Our nation's greatest hope is in churches/believers praying for spiritual awakening revival. We remember God fearing settlers who came to America with heart felt, biblical faith. They laid the foundation which made it possible for us to openly participate in public and private prayer. The founders of America intended it to be a Christian nation. Proclamations issued by government leaders throughout America's history, urging humiliation, repentance, gathering for prayer; no restraints to appealing to God!

Men and women of faith have used their private and public influence through wars, depressions, natural disasters etc. etc. Many stood against opposition, insisting that America remain steadfast to biblical principles. Pastors, para-church ministries, business men, professional sports persons, radio and TV personalities, etc. stood for their faith. We have a rich heritage.

"The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong" (2 Chronicles 16: 9a). We entered 2010 CRNDP wholly given to Him in trust. Whenever the Lord finds such a people that are "holding fast to their faith and confidence in Him"-- He always show Himself strong. He is faithful to reveal "His" power.

|
Let no flesh glory in "His" sight as we lift up Jesus only. The core of the CRNDP is the pastors, ministers and leaders who are relationally connect to Together In Ministry (TIM). They donate their time, resources and gifts to this united effort. No participant at the CRNDP received any remuneration. All of us are giving and sowing freely in the future of our nation, you will also notice no introductions or biographies. This is not in any way a measure of disrespect to anyone, but our unanimous desire to reflect that it is all about "Him" our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We come to "Crown Him" and proclaim Our Lord Reigns!
To exalt Him and acknowledge Him as Sovereign God over "all" the nations.

Without TIM the CRNDP could not take place. On this day TIM is joined by hundreds of dynamic, anointed ministries and multiplied hundreds of believers in worshipful prayer.

Local and distant clergy and senior ministry leaders were together in the Rayburn Office Building for an annual gathering preceding the CRNDP. The spiritual tone was set by this pre-gathering.

The outcome of the pre-gathering exceeded our expectations with:
We left the pre-gathering anticipating the release of God's power.

The Intercessors Prayer Gathering contiued to prepare the pathway for the Lord's presence, focus on the flow of the Spirit and guard the corporateness of the assembly.
The Intercessors came and they were instructed to:
The wave of His presence and power that flowed over the assembly was in direct proportion to the unity and glory experienced in the pre-gathering.

The Intercessors went into groups praying for them individually until the Spirit was finished. Then the Intercessors sat in the midst of the congregation. They helped to form circles of prayer when instructed. They followed the lead of speakers with prayer focus and connected to what was happening on the platform at all times.
We felt like we were standing on Holy Ground the presence of God was evident.

Adults commitment to mentoring and instruments of intercession for them to raise up the next generation assuring youth arising to a valuable, essential destiny in Jesus Christ. Capitol Region National Day of Prayer 2010
A release of the awesome power of God, for which we are grateful!
|
|
Prayer is for such a time as this, coupled with enduring faith. The committing of all things into God's hands, every event, every future care. We affirm our commitment to the movement of on going worshipful prayer in which we have been called. To the Glory of the Father -- Amen!
Capitol Region National Day of Prayer is not just an event. It is a renewed commitment, a fresh motivation, an incitement toward "On Going Movement of Prayer"
Testimony 1
I attended the prayer service yesterday and it was awesome! I am so thankful that God met us yesterday. Thank you for your leadership in building bridges and unity among believers.
I was one of the young people in the 26-40 range (I am 27 years old) and I am so thankful that you all took time to pray foe and over us. It really stirred something in me. I know that I will never be the same. I am so thankful that God is awakening us and drawing us closer to Him so we can go forth in His power!
Testimony 2
After begging one of our female Hispanic students for some time to attend the Capital Region National Day of Prayer, she reluctantly agreed. At one point during the program the youth were asked to gather around the front. As this student approached the front, she was met there by an elderly woman who prayed for her intensely. The Holy Spirit began to fill that student in a supernatural way, and began to weep. This tremendous empowering of the Holy Spirit upon her lasted for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Her life was transformed along with many others. Thank you for your faithfulness in being led by the spirit.
Testimony 3
One of our students shared how God blessed him at the Capital Region National Day of Prayer. He mentioned that three pastors prayed for him and told him everything that was going on in his life. Simultaneously, they expressed to him how he needed to change and accept Christ. Praise the Lord! He did!
Now Generation multicultural conversation began December 2009 and further formulated January 2010. It will continue and expand. They desire open, transparent, intergenerational dialogue, connectivity, interacting with other cultures. Now Generation desires the older generation to equip them, release them to be authentic in responding to their encounter with the Holy Spirit. They desire the older generation to be there for them in the process.
God's pattern and He has given us an "effectual" door into their hearts. Stand with us in this pursuit. The future of our nation depends on it - we are encouraged! Thank you: You are sowing into good ground. Together we can impact, raise up "Now Generation" to reach their generation. Continue to be faithful in your prayerful support.
Following the 10 day prayer guide at www.globaldayofprayer.com the Capitol Region Pastors\Intercessors\ Prayers corporately joined the global expression. Our Gathering took place on: Saturday May 22, 2010 at Iglesia Dios De Feen 5203 Georgia Avenue, Washington, DC. We felt the power of the Spiritual connection with millions of believers all over the world. Awesome!
